Traverse City Horse Shows & Great Lakes Equestrian Festival

Horse shows up north are in full swing at Traverse City, the cherry capital of the world!

Top riders from across the globe have descended on this beautiful little lakeside town. Exceptional talent have brought their horses to compete amongst some of the best the sport has to offer.

With new horses across all three rings this summer, Isabelle Ehman, of Milton, GA, has won the $7,500 Forget Me Not Farm Medium Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic aboard Encanta.

Ehman finished sixth in the classic with her second mount, Aston Des Etisses, a 13-year old Selle Français gelding.

Isabella Ehman aboard Milton flies over the starlight jumps.

Karl Cook above aboard Caracole de la Roque.

Jordan Allen aboard Giorgio Armani. I always love a dapple grey horse.

One of my favorite jumps this year are the tulips. Michigan is famous for its ubiquitous flowers as this jump depicts so well.
